The Children’s Miracle Network Champions program honours remarkable children from the United States and Canada who have triumphed despite severe medical challenges. For their courage and perseverance, the children on these pages have been selected as international ambassadors for the 17 million kids treated each year at Children’s Miracle Network children’s hospitals.
These Champion children representing their countries in this international program are a testament to the importance of children’s hospitals. With the help of their Children’s Miracle Network hospitals, a teenager overcame a hip disorder, a girl survived a plane crash, and a young boy received a heart transplant. From pediatric cancer treatment and intensive care to walk-in clinics and child safety programs, these children’s hospitals provide specialized care that can’t be found anywhere else. Each Champion represents countless other children that have faced severe medical challenges and received care and treatment at the best hospitals in the country.
