Some of Children's Miracle Network's “coolest” fundraising programs come from Dairy Queen. In Canada, Dairy Queen’s owners, operators and staff pull together to make miracles happen, raising over $13 million since 1984 for children’s hospitals across Canada.

Their signature event, Miracle Treat Day, encourages the support of many communities who work together for local kids who may someday require the care they can only receive at a children’s hospital. On this special day in August, proceeds from the sale of their popular Blizzard® treats will be donated to Children's Miracle Network hospitals. They’ve even utilized an online tool to pre-sell Blizzards® to businesses in cities and towns across Canada. With the help of member hospital foundations, Dairy Queen conducts Blizzard® drops, and TV and radio interviews. Dairy Queen also hosts other events to promote the event and enlist the support of Canadians.

But their support doesn’t stop there. Throughout the year, Dairy Queen employees sell paper balloons, host in-store events and collect coins - all with the intent to raise funds and awareness for Children's Miracle Network and its member hospitals.
