This spring, Walmart Canada is once again rallying customers and associates to support children’s hospital foundations across the country. From May 7 to May 31, shoppers visiting Walmart stores can donate at checkout, with 100% of every contribution staying local to benefit the nearest children’s hospital foundation.
Every donation helps fund specialized equipment, innovative research, critical treatment spaces, and family-centred programs that support children and families when they need it most. These contributions ensure hospitals have the tools, technology, and resources needed to deliver world-class care close to home.
Walmart associates play an important role in bringing the campaign to life—encouraging donations, sharing stories of impact, and helping communities understand how their generosity makes a difference for kids’ health.
Since the partnership began in 1994, Walmart Canada, its associates, and its customers have raised more than $230 million for children’s hospital foundations across Canada. Each campaign continues to build on that legacy—demonstrating the powerful impact communities can have when they come together to support children and families facing health challenges.
