Dairy Queen® Canada has been proudly supporting children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network for more than 40 years—turning fan-favourite treats into powerful support for kids’ health.
The highlight of the year is Miracle Treat Day. On this day each August, participating DQ locations across Canada will donate net proceeds from every Blizzard® Treat sold to their local children’s hospital foundation. In 2025 alone, Miracle Treat Day raised more than $2.1 million, contributing to over $57 million raised since 1984.
DQ’s impact continues beyond a single day through additional initiatives like Dip it for Kids in March, Round Up in September, which invite guests to support children’s hospitals through small, meaningful contributions. With more than 700 restaurants participating nationwide, every Blizzard® Treat and every donation helps fund vital equipment, innovative treatments, research, and child-focused healing environments—helping kids get back to being kids.
